What is organic food?

Irradiation and the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or products produced from or by GMOs are generally prohibited by organic legislation.
Organic food is food produced by methods that comply with the standards of organic farming. Standards vary worldwide, but organic farming in general features practices that strive to cycle resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity. Organizations regulating organic products may restrict the use of certain pesticides and fertilizers in farming. In general, organic foods are also usually not processed using irradiation, industrial solvents or synthetic food additives.
Why are we 100% organic?
Ever since the beginning of our journey, IMC committed to conserve organic land to plan organic coconut tree. We cultivate farmers around central java about the organic farming system. With our internal control and community development team, IMC regularly give guidance to each farmer about how to grow organic coconut tree.
We travel from one farmer to another, register each tree they have so we can track the tree’s history. In the making process of coconut sugar, from the farmer level to our processing factory, we use food grade tools and high tech machines. No chemical or synthetic food additives is involved in the process.
IMC strive to keep the supply chain to improve the farmer’s welfare. We bought their coconut sugar with fair price to help them improve their life. Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) team continuously held educational and useful activities for farmers and their families.
Buying IMC organic coconut sugar is not only 100% organic, but also help to keep sustainable environment, society and mother nature.
